The International Center of Photography's New Intellectual Property Rights Agreement (2012)   


For a month in 2012, I instituted my own mandatory intellectual property rights agreement across the public use computers at ICP. Macs were made to look like Windows XP machines, EULA messages were displayed in windows that couldn't be closed. Screen savers ran inscrutable DVD-style FBI warnings with messages in Esperanto -- so as to not unfairly favor English speakers -- or in the familiar Wingdings font.
