For those still waiting for the Mayan Apocalypse (maybe it's just a few days late?) there's a cool piece in SFAQ. It includes an image from my Glitchometry series, in the context of magnetic fields and solar flares.

Glitchometry piece starting with 9 triangles. I did far less than usual to the image -- only performing two iterations, when often it's more than thirty -- so more of the original shape (in this case, the nine triangles) is visible.
